The Doberman Archives is a privately assembled cultural archive. Collection objects identified as Archive-held are physical originals owned by The Doberman Archives and have been acquired, preserved, catalogued, and digitized for this collection.

Images published by The Doberman Archives are created from Archive-held objects unless another source is specifically credited. Publication of those images provides access for viewing and research through the Archive. It does not grant permission to copy, download for republication, repost, redistribute, sell, publish, crop, alter, incorporate into other content, or otherwise reuse Archive digital images.

The same restriction applies to Archive-created photography, written entries, research summaries, cataloguing, object descriptions, graphics, compilations, and other original material published by The Doberman Archives.

Posting an Archive image or Archive-written material to a website, social-media account, Facebook group, video, newsletter, article, book, commercial product, database, or other publication requires prior written authorization. Attribution alone does not constitute permission. Linking directly to the Archive record is permitted and encouraged.

Automated scraping, bulk downloading, image harvesting, dataset creation, systematic extraction, and the use of Archive content to populate third-party databases or content services are prohibited.

Archive object numbers, source information, credits, watermarks, metadata, and other identifying or rights-management information must not be removed, obscured, or altered. U.S. copyright law provides additional protection in certain circumstances for copyright-management information attached to protected works.

The Doberman Archives actively documents unauthorized reuse of its material and may pursue removal through publishers, hosting companies, social platforms, search services, copyright procedures, contractual remedies, or other available channels.

Requests to reproduce Archive material must be made in writing [permissions@adobermansworld.com] and must identify the material, intended use, publication or platform, and proposed distribution.
