The 1997 Issue

Philatelic cataloguing places the sheet within The Gambia’s 1997 dog issue, dated August 12, 19972. Secondary philatelic cataloguing identifies the Doberman souvenir sheet as Scott 19913; the Archive has not yet verified that number directly against the Scott catalogue (the relevant Scott catalogue entry is not currently available through the sources accessible to the Archive).

Archive Copy

The example held by The Doberman Archives retains the complete souvenir sheet with the perforated D25 stamp intact. The physical reverse was inspected and is blank.1
